Lesson 15
Every day on this earth is a preparation for eternity. Let not one moment of opportunity be wasted by engaging with the negatives of darkness, but let’s LIVE the ABUNDANT LIFE IN THE LIGHT OF HIS COUNTENANCE and let every thought, Word, action and attitude leave a mark for God’s glory!
When I grew up, many people had the three monkeys in their homes: See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. This is actually derived from the Scripture in Isaiah 33:14-15.
The wonderful thing is that when we guard the gates of our soul (ears and eyes), our actions will be pure and the reward is that we will see the King in His beauty and the heavenly domain!
Isaiah 33:16-17 King James Version (KJV)
16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
This is what it is all about - intimacy with the King in the garden of His presence, enjoying the security of His protection and His overflowing provision while we feast on Him alone!
If we have lent out our ears to bloodshed, looking at evil, speaking about it and giving it any place in our hearts, let us come under the cleansing of the blood of Jesus through repentance, consecrating ourselves anew to Him, asking Him to fill us with His glory light.
The reward is His Presence!
The reward is His Presence!
Prayer: Father of glory, I want to live in unbroken communion with the Trinity and therefore I repent of any sin regarding my eyes, my ears, my mouth and my walk. Forgive me for giving any place to evil in my temple and wash me with Your precious blood, Jesus. I consecrate myself and all my senses anew to You, asking that Your glory light will flood my soul, driving out all darkness.
I lay hold of the promise that I will see the king in His beauty, dwelling in heavenly places in Your presence in unbroken communion. Thank You for Your grace, Lord.
